These guys are great! I'd highly recommend the 'open top' bus tour, since it's way better for taking pictures and lots of fun. Whether you're from LA (like me) and just want to show some friends around without having to drive, or you're visiting and want to see the sights of Los Angeles, LA Sightseeing Tours are the way to go. They also do Santa Barbara and other So Cal *wine* tours (woo hoo!), and you can bring a whole group. It's awesome. Just make sure to book a reservation as far in advance as you can, since the buses can fill up quickly.

My friend and I took their LA Grand Tour and Movie Stars' Homes just recently on our trip to California. We stayed at the Residence Inn in Anaheim and the company picked us up from our hotel at no extra fee which was good and helped us avoid the hassle of driving around LA on our own. I am from South Florida and we deal with pretty heavy traffic here but nothing compared to what LA folks have to deal with. The tour was actually very good. Our tour guide was Vincent and he was very funny and he knew his way around his city very well. We even saw the house where Michael Jackson lived before he died. When we were in Beverly Hills we stopped at Rodeo Drive and even saw Bijan walking up to his Ferrari from his designer shop, it was fun too. Overall, i think that we made the right choice because everyone at LA Sightseeing was friendly and easy to deal with. Getting back to Anaheim took some time in Thursday night's traffic but we did't mind it because first of all we were not driving and second, we were so beat after walking all over LA that we just fell asleep on the bus on our way back.
