The tour starts in the sunny Santa Monica area and swings by the famous Santa Monica Pier and 3rd Street Promenade. You'll even get a glimpse of the Pacific Ocean before we move on to Beverly Hills, playground of the rich and famous. It's a terrific spot for people watching in L.A. and a must-do for shopaholics. Stroll down Rodeo Drive and see the latest styles from Gucci, Prada, Versace and many other high end designers.
Then we make our way down L.A.'s hottest party zone, the infamous Sunset Strip. See historic hotspots, like the Whiskey A Go Go, as well as world class hotels, like the Standard, and trendy nightclubs, including the Key Club and the Sky Bar. Next up is Hollywood, the entertainment capital of the world. A brief stop on Hollywood Boulevard gives you time to wander the Walk of Fame and look for your favorite celebrity stars. Julia Roberts, Jack Nicholson, Tom Hanks, Johnny Depp, and Harrison Ford have all been immortalized for their work in cinema. Even Mickey Mouse has a star! Then you can check out their hand and footprints in front of Grauman's Chinese Theatre. This grand old movie theater – built to resemble a Chinese palace – opened in 1927 and was the site of three separate Academy Award ceremonies. Today the Oscars are held less than a block away at the Kodak Theatre, in the bustling Hollywood & Highland complex. You'll have time to check out its 75 shops and restaurants before moving on to your next destination.
As we tour the city, we'll visit L.A.'s most exclusive neighborhoods for a look at some movie star homes. The celebrities live tucked away on the residential streets of areas like Bel Air, Beverly Hills, and Brentwood. See the homes of famous folk like Keanu Reeves, Queen Latifah, Katherine Heigl, Will and Jada Pinkett Smith and many more! If you're lucky, you might even see someone famous – fan favorite Adam Sandler has been to known to jump on the tour bus and greet visitors. There's no better way to spend a day in L.A.
